• Healthy Tip of the Month •

The holiday season often brings plenty of tempting treats and big meals, making it easy to overindulge. Practicing mindful eating can help you enjoy your favorites while maintaining a healthy balance. - Slow Down and Savor: Take smaller bites, chew thoroughly, and truly enjoy the flavors of your food. Eating slower gives your brain time to register when you're full.
- Stay Hydrated: Drink plenty of water throughout the day and before meals. Sometimes dehydration can be mistaken for hunger.
- Portion Control: Use a smaller plate or bowl to help control portions. This allows you to enjoy a variety of foods without overloading.
- Skip the Guilt: It’s okay to enjoy holiday treats! Focus on moderation rather than restriction to maintain a positive mindset.
By being mindful, you can still partake in all the holiday cheer while feeling good about your choices!
